Link Dump Time Again!

So, in my meanderings about the web, I've accumulated a ton of links again. So here they are:

Studio Geraldez - the guy who paints for Corvus Belli
Terrain Thralls
Dragon Forge Store
Some step-by-step miniature painting images
Pimp Your Scenery!
Parasitic Studios
Deckard's sedan in paper - and the main artist's website

DAIM - A really cool graffiti artist
A really cool patch!
Nissan Forum - I truly love and want a Nissan 300zx

Politics? - I generally avoid such discussions, but what the heck:
Why Liberals Should Love The Second Amendment - Check out Angry Mouse's other articles as well - she has a good head on her shoulders.
A Human Right
Communion of Dreams - haven't had a chance to check it out yet...

Looks like that's all for now...

No Foolin'

So, today's April Fool's Day and all the tech sites worth their salt are posting clever shenanigans.

Take for instance this new Wii game!

Anyway, I'm sure you've seen 'em all already, but will somebody explain to me why "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Ghastley is so funny?

Now on to actual serious stuff, unfortunately only links:

Definitely cool: Matryoshkus

Interesting stuff: Windowseat

Time's Global Warming Survival Guide (yeah, I'm just snagging links now)

Really cool Graffiti: DAIM (and also a great candy from IKEA!)

And even though I can't afford the car, I'll probably be buying a t-shirt or two from Tesla Motors!

Miniatures stuff:
Heresy's Sci-Fi Miniatures
Silicon Dragons
SkullCrafts
Bases from Micro Art Studio
The Jenova Project - Tips and Tutorials

Oh, and I've gotten on a Chernobyl/Pripyat kick lately:
Chernobyl/Pripyat pictures
Pripyat.com
Photos from Elena Filatova

This seems to be a sullen subject. My interest started with a program on the History Channel called "Life After People" in which they user Pripyat as an example of what's left after humanity has left for 20 years. It struck a chord with me. I don't know if it was the absence of people, the ghostliness of it, or the tragedy behind it. In any case, I picked up Call of Duty 4 shortly afterwards and, lo and behold, there's a level in which you are running around Pripyat...

Stupid 'Puter

Well, my computer is half-locked up now, so I'll try to snag the fun links I found recently:

The Assault Group
Wargames Foundry and their Street Violence line
Heresy Miniatures (sci-fi page)

That's it for now...

Autechre

I think I can really get into this band.

I originally heard a song of theirs on a Chris Cunningham video. A little google magic later and I found this video (Gantz Graf).

It's not for everyone, "but then again, who does."

First things first:
Firefox does a great job of keeping track of your open windows in the event of a crash EXCEPT when it has to install updates on relaunch, in which case it just obliterates everything to tell you "Grats! You updated!"

So, here's some links I regularly visit and hopefully some I am able to pull from the history:

From the history:
Bridges Over Troubled Water (there is an actual webpage with this, but I lost it)

And this is just funny:

Welcome

So... I realized that I have a ton of interests - and no real way to keep track of them all. I figured I'd give this "blogging" thing a try. Ya know, to keep track of web links, game ideas, random thoughts, whathaveyou - all stored in "The Black Square"... dun, dun, DUN!
(A play on the chess theme and a black hole of knowledge - we'll see if I will/can change the title later...)
